Dilmun

Four thousand years ago Dilmun – the ancient name for Bahrain – was at the centre of a vast trading network which stretched from India to Mesopotamia. A village dating to this time was excavated at Saar by the London-Bahrain Archaeological Expedition from 1990 to 1999.
